Bourbon Barrels Serve Up Sustainable Styling – Whisky Barrel Cobbles

Reclaimed Whisky Barrel Wall Cobbles

Hand cut and fashioned from the staves of prime oak whisky barrels our unique Whisky Barrel Cobbles have proved popular with interior designers and architects since we launched the product back in Autumn 2011.  The Whisky Barrels become surplus to distilleries requirements after 20 or 30 years in use. Rather than consign the waste wood to landfill the Whisky industry are delighted to pass on these fantastic pieces of history filled prime hardwood to companies with creative ideas and solutions that repurpose the timber.  Many of these barrels start life in the Spanish sherry business and the American Bourbon industry before hitting the shores of Scotland and laying down world famous whiskies.
