Case Study - Private Client, Newton Mearns May 2009

In this private residential home in Newton Mearns, Glasgow the owner asked us to supply various styles of hardwood flooring throughout the house including the upstairs and downstairs hall, stairs, dining room, lounge, pool room, dressing rooms, fitness rooms, and bedrooms. We chose this house to show that we can supply specialist hardwood and many different designs to match the vision the owner has. The photo on top left shows an example of block flooring laid in the hall. It is Clyde Teak Block (variegated) laid herringbone pattern with two block brick border. In the front lounge it is French Prime Oak with Wenge lacing strip. The Oak is Quatersawn and laid basketweave pattern. The border is two line wenge. In the dining room is American White Oak with butt mitred surround with a merbau feature strip.
