Case Study - Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum, Glasgow July 2009
As part of the £28m project to return Glasgow's renowned Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum to 'as good as new' state McKay Flooring won the contract to undertake the renovation of the 100 year old original teak floors to install new Junckers floors to several of the exhibition areas. The works included carrying out repairs then sanding and re-lacquering the beautiful teak floors as well as fitting new timber flooring that now sits alongside the rejuvenated century old wood.
