Constructed to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the Battle of Puebla (an invading French army where beaten by an inferior Mexican army) this huge public space as monument use acres of rising and bending wood decking to create a beautifully sculpted artificial topography. Lamp posts dotted around the square denote the number of battalions that fought, while the 150 trees planted signify each year that has passed since the event.
