Vacuum stained Beech with a warm, medium-red appearance. SylvaRed is a shade brighter than Merbau and can be sanded without loss of colour. Classic grade has an even uniform clean look, with some fine graining and minimal colour variation between boards and staves. This grade does have some black pin knots.
