Spectacular Wooden Chapel

This spectacular wooden chapel, built inside  Saint James Seminary in Braga Portugal uses 20 tons of untreated timber and is fixed using entirely traditional methods – no nails or adhesive used. Designed by reknowed local architecture practice Cerejeira Fontes Architects in collaboration with Norwegian sculptor Asbjörn Andresen this space is intended as a prayer room and space for contemplation with all design and architectural details of the building directly relating to select biblical parables.
