Reminiscent of our own coloured parquet flooring artist Aaron Moran creates colourful patchwork sculptures from reclaimed wood and recycled timber with the end result being intricate geometric shapes and patterns not unlike fine parquetry and marquetry yet with a desirable rustic finish. The artists imaginative forms and designs have got us thinking…. could we design and install parquet floors in a similar fashion?
