We are a family run business so far spanning two generations. The company was established by Archie McKay in 1973 as a small enterprise and has rapidly expanded to become one of the largest hardwood flooring companies in the UK. We still retain the qualities of a family company: loyal, happy, trusted staff who have been with the company for many years and have achieved a level of skill and reliability unsurpassed by our competitors.

The Managing Director Archie McKay has been involved in hardwood flooring all his working life (over 40 years). Since completing his apprenticeship to become a professional flooring installer he has worked in management and has a vast knowledge of the hardwood flooring industry.

Richard Mckay BSc (Hons) joined the company in 1998. He combines his roles as a director and quantity surveyor of the company and has been  involved in the expansion of the business. Richard, in his duties as a surveyor, deals with the commercial contracts.

Christine Higgins is our showroom manageress and will offer expert advice on all aspects of hardwood flooring supply and installation. Christine and our highly trained staff will be delighted to answer any of your questions and will make a visit to our showrooms an enjoyable experience.
